First of all go to the play store of your android mobile and then click on bowlometer app download option to download bolometer app. 

How to use bowlometer app

Bowling video – Before bolometer app configuration make your own bowling video clip through your mobile. Remember the quality of the video should be good specially the ball release and ball hit should be clear otherwise you won’t be able to get the correct bowling speed of yourself.

Bolometer app configuration – 

First visit in bowlometer app and then click on import video.

After importing the bowling video five triangle shape buttons will appear horizontally below the screen. 

Among these 5 buttons play button will be in the centre and the size of the play button will be bit larger in comparison to the other 4 buttons.

At the right side of play button there will be 2 forward buttons and left side of play button their will be 2 backward buttons. 

Role of forward buttons – There are 2 forward buttons present at the right side of the play button. These buttons are used to forward the video in milliseconds. After pressing 1st button video will be increased by 1 millisecond and after pressing 2nd button you can increase the video to 4 milliseconds. 

Role of backward buttons – There are two buttons present at the left side of the play button. These buttons also works in mili seconds and they are used for backward option of the video. First button will take back the video by 1 miliseconds and the second button will do the same for 4 mili seconds. 

Apart from these buttons you will see two more important buttons present at the top right corner of the app. These buttons are release point and reach point. Let’s understand how they work. 

Release point –  This is the exact point when the ball is released from the hand of the bowler.

Reach point – This is the exact point when the ball reaches to the batsman. Reach point is counted when the ball hits the bat, pad or stumps of the batsman. 

In order to get the correct bowling speed you must use the forward and backward button specially try to use 1 millisecond buttons. Remember there should be exactly milliseconds,  1 millisecond can make the difference so try to count the exactly millisecond. 

Release point click timing – When the ball is released from the hand of the bowler at the moment click the button given at the top right corner. In fact you about should stop the video first and then click the release point in order to get the correct release point. When you will click the release point button it will be noted and your screen will show noted for one second. 

Reach point click timing – Bowl will take 500 to 600 ms to reach the destination here you can use the 2nd forward ms button to reach quickly but after reaching closer again use the 1 millisecond button to get the correct reach point. When the ball hits the stump immediately pause the video and click on the reach option at the top right corner and your screen will show the speed.
