There are three hurdles that you have to cross and those are:

1. District level cricket 
2. State level cricket
3. Domestic Cricket

Let’s understand about cricket trials:

District Cricket Trials in India 

If you want to become a cricketer then you must give these cricket trials. District level cricket trials are the beginning of a cricketer. In simple words we can say these cricket trials are our first step towards cricketing career. District Cricket Trials dates were published per year in Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala newspapers. The timings of district cricket trials in various states may differ. Generally district cricket trials occurs from february to march. Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran use to publish the trial dates 10 to 15 days earlier only. So it’s your responsibility to keep a good eye on these newspapers. Remember in your district the trials may occur in different month so you should visit district cricket association of your district to clarify the trial month. 

State Cricket Trials

You get selected in state cricket matches after performing consistently in district level cricket matches. You cannot directly participate in state cricket like district cricket instead selectors  pics players from district tournament and give opportunity them to play in state level matches.

 Domestic Cricket Trials

This is the third and final stage from where you will get ample amount of opportunities to get selected directly in Indian team. Domestic cricket is ideal platform to become a cricketer because selectors used to observe very closely each and every match of domestic cricket.  Most players are picked for IPL tournament and also in Indian cricket team from domestic cricket performance. Ranji cricket is one of the most popular and big domestic tournament which is the dream of every young cricketer because it gives a good opportunity to get noticed by cricket selectors. To reach domestic cricket you have to work hard or very hard.

How to become a girl cricketer 

After playing district cricket you can participate in state level trials and after performing continuously in state level might get selected in domestic cricket of India. In Domestic cricket you have to play various domestic level matches such as Ranji trophy, Vijay hazare trophy, Deodhar trophy etc. If you will keep performing in domestic cricket matches there are very high chances of getting selected in Indian team. The process of female and male are same to reach their destiny. If they continuous good cricket in domestic matches male cricketer might get selected for Indian Premier League (IPL) and female ipl might occur in future. Domestic matches are the right platform from where selectors used to select players in women Indian cricket team and in IPLs.
