Stuart Christopher John Broad was born on June 1986 in Nottingham shire, England. He is an English cricketer who played ODI, T20 and test matches for the England cricket team and was a former ODI and t20 international captain as well. Broad was a member of the ICC world t20 champion team England in 2010. 

Broad began his career as a right-arm seam bowler and left-handed batsman. He began his career playing in Leicestershire and in 2008 moved to Nottinghamshire where his father also played cricket.

Stuart Broads’ middle name is John and there is a story behind this. Stuart was a child who was born 12  weak prematurely And his life was saved by Doctor John. After this incident, his parents decided to name his middle name after the doctor’s name. In the beginning, he was fond of hockey and want to become a hockey player for England. Following his dream he started playing hockey as a goalkeeper for Leicestershire and Midlands. He has also been given a trial for England’s underage team.
