District cricket trial forms date

The first step to apply for the Indian cricket team is to play district cricket. District cricket tournaments are played in every state. To play this tournament you have to fill the trial form  and give the trial. 

District cricket trial forms dates are published every year in your cities local newspapers: Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala. After getting the trial dates one should visit the district cricket association to get the trial forms.

The form price may be between Rs 350 to Rs 500 or Rs 700 depending on the association of your city. Fill out the form and submit it to the association office from where you have purchased the form.

After submitting the form, the association will give you a trial date and time. You must reach the cricket ground on time. The participant player must reach the ground in plain lower and t-shirt. It is good to give trials in a uniform similar to a test match uniform. 

Batsmen should carry their bat helmet, gloves and pads. You may get cricket equipment on the ground as well but it is good to carry personal bat, helmet and gloves to give your best performance in trials.

State cricket and Ranji cricket

After performing in district cricket you may get a chance to give trials for state cricket. Players who perform well regularly in state cricket get a chance to play some important domestic cricket tournaments such as Ranji Cricket, Dilip cricket and Indian under 19, under 23 cricket tournaments etc. 

After performing well in domestic cricket or under 19 India team, A team player gets a chance to play in (IPL) Indian Premier League or he/she may get a chance to play for India.

Sachin Tendulkar started playing cricket for India at the age of 16 years. Praveen Tambe started his career inIPL cricket cricket at 40 years. As per BCCI guidelines there is no upper age limit to play cricket in India.

  • Must have electricity bill and house address on their name.
